The Whitmerites are now traveling far and wide to attend the Whitmer Annual Reunion. This year discounted arrangements have been made for Thursday night, February 19, 2009. Anyone interested must call the Quality Inn prior to February 4th. We are listed as "Whitmer Reunion. The basic room cost is $79.00 plus tax.

Hi, Just a short note to tell you I went to the Doctor yesterday and he said my test came out good. I go back for another PET scan in three months. He said I could do what ever I wanted. I told Manuel I was ready to go on a long trip around the world. He said with the stock market down I would have to walk or thumb a ride. I want to thank every one for their thoughts and prayers. I am sure that is why my tests turned out so good. Hope you have a good day and keep in touch.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that today I had my last Chemo Treatment (12, I hope that will be all). . I will then see the Doctor the last of September and first of October when they will do a lot of tests then we will see how the chemo worked. ....

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, cards, calls, e-mails, visits, food, gifts, everything that you did. It sure helped pass the time (since last October). I have been back to work for a few hours a week which really helped to boost my spirits. Next week I can go back to my regular 20 hours. Manuel has been a very good nurse maid but I am sure he is ready to retire from that and go back to his regular job (whatever that may be).

I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. I really appreciated it.

I had surgery last fall and we have not been able to travel since ...

- Marcia Yes, Hillary came and went @ WHS - lots of decorations,
and they covered the BB court floor, to protect it. News crews were
there - I think, I saw about 30 seconds (mostly crowd shots, many
waiting outside to get in), I believe she was late arriving.
She was at TU today (3/3/8) -
Her last public appearance in Ohio will be on th 4th, Election day.
